Training Design Sprint

For this project, Shauna developed an original sprint framework to facilitate the design, collaboration, and review of training content with stakeholders.
The training process is an amalgamation of adult learning theory and strategies including Design Thinking, Andragogy, Understanding by Design (UbD) ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, Learner Experience (LxD), and Bloom's Taxonomy.

Innovation

By conducting a needs analysis, Shauna is able to get perspective and refine the problem and understand the training feasibility.
Empathy maps are used to gain a 360-degree perspective on what a learner thinks, feels, and does.
Within this framework, stakeholders make the most of their time together, collaborating and generating ideas to identify innovative solutions.
Review, test, and implement your new training ideas.
Sprint Template
Shauna created the following systematic and scalable framework for educational content. This sprint process was implemented to successfully revamp employee onboarding.
Take A Glance
Get to know some of the content featured in a needs assessment. This is the first step that takes place when a training request is submitted. A needs assessment is a detailed process for determining and addressing needs, or gaps between current conditions and desired conditions or wants.
Measuring Impact
Standardizing Feedback
By developing standardized scales and question formats, training impact can be measured and compared to other content.
Collect Data
Utilize strategies to obtain data including self-assessment questionnaires, training tests, observations, KPIs, quizzes, and surveys.
Implement Feedback
Reflect and take action based on feedback. Analyze insights and trends in data to develop takeaways and actions for improving training.
